Associate Pastor

Yolanda White-Oliver joined the Saint Mark United Methodist Church staff as the Associate Pastor for Congregational Care in February of 2018.  As a bi-vocational Pastor she is also employed as a Full-time Broker for a local medical center.

Pastor Oliver graduated with an MBA from Baker University and is continuing her education at United Theological Seminary in Ohio, in effort to go deeper in her relationship with God and learn new methods of sharing God’s never changing word with the masses. As Pastor of Congregational Care, she has been charged to engage and lead a team of believers to ensure NO MEMBER of Saint Mark ever endures the challenges of life alone.

White-Oliver believes that her mission is to be an instrument of ‘hope and healing’ while living in humble surrender to the truth that her best efforts may come through her but originate from the depths of The Divine Spirit. In the words of John Wesley, she remains prepared to "preach, pray or die" while encouraging those willing to listen, to rely on scripture, tradition, reason and experience on their journey for spiritual maturity.

When not loving on the members of Saint Mark UMC, Yolanda can be found spending time with her husband, Phillip and their eight children: Cameron, Camille, Markell, Aliyah, Amiah, Kenon, Elijah and Ansen, along with seven amazing grandchildren: Gavin, Kamrin, Jaime, Isela, Aaliyah, Adrian and Aniyah.
