Director of Family Life Center / Director of Children’s Ministry
Gina Johnson is a native of Marion, Indiana, where she grew up and attended local public schools. She graduated from Marion High School, Cowley County Community College and Wichita State University. She was an outstanding basketball player. Gina received a Bachelor Degree in Recreational.
Gina has been a member of Saint Mark United Methodist Church since 1991. She has been a part of Staff Team for seventeen years. She is the Director of Family Life Center.
Under Gina's leadership, the Family Life Center continues to be a blessing to the community, and an inclusive helpful spirit to all who enter through the doors. Gina coordinates various Recreational Ministry activities and Community events at Saint Mark United Methodist Church.
Gina co-founded the Seeds of Life Summer Camp Program at Saint Mark United Methodist Church. The purpose of the camp is to continue education enrichment throughout the summer for children's . The camp gives campers exposure in Math, Reading, Writing, Fine Arts, Music, Cooking Lessons, and Bible Study.
Gina as the Director of Children's Ministry seeks to teach Children's to know their purpose in life: To honor and glorify God by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior to know God's word, and to tell this Good News. Gina favorite scripture: The Lord will fight for you, and you need only to be still. Exodus 14:14
